AES-Verschlüsselung / Entschlüsselung

The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), also known as Rijndael (pronounced “Rain Doll”), is a block cipher scheme to encrypt data. AES is one of the most popular algorithms used in symmetric cryptography.

The encryption was developed by two Belgian cryptologists, Joan Daemen and Vincent Rijmen, both students of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and was sent to the AES selection process under the name “Rijndael”.
